This course clarifies the definition of implicit bias and dissects all biases, whether implicit or explicit, while identify those that may be illicit in nature, particularly as related to race and cultural diversity. All people have biases. The key questions asked in this course are: Why? Where do they come from? What are yours…and perhaps most importantly: Are they helpful or maladaptive when it comes to assessing, deciding and behaving during interactions with others?
Each section contains one video around 20 minutes and has a one-question quiz at the end. You must complete each section to receive a certificate.
